Scar Aguilar is a Latinx Trans Queer artist and photographer based in Los Angeles, turning identity, memory, and self-expression into striking visual stories. Blending photography with contemporary art, scrapbooking and mixed media, Scar’s work is bold, theatrical, and deeply personal—often featuring creatively directed portraits and layered self-portraiture that challenge the norms of traditional storytelling.

Their work has been showcased in the 2023 Film N Friends exhibition and the 2024 PCC Zine Club Magazine. Whether behind the camera or in front of it, Scar creates with intention—building worlds that celebrate queerness, human connection, and the power of being seen.
